Why blue? The color blue symbolizes wisdom, conSidence, intelligence, and faith. It is the color of the sea and sky, from which we draw revelation and into which we bravely venture. It was the muse of master painters and legendary musicians, and the color best loved by our dearest inspiration, Thea Kay Leopoulos.
April 29, we invite you into the blue with us, where we’ll celebrate the achievements the Thea Foundation has made in advocating the arts and immerse ourselves in the stories and talents of our beneSiciaries—young artists, musicians, and actors. We’ll also honor Judy Tenenbaum, a woman who has truly been a pillar for the arts in Arkansas, with our 2nd annual Pillar of the Arts award.
The evening will begin with an exquisite cocktail dinner buffet and transition to a variety of performances by Thea Foundation scholarship winners in the beautiful blue theater at the Center for the Humanities and Arts. Many of Thea’s scholarship recipients have shined on the stages of Broadway and beyond, and we’re bringing them home to Arkansas. Join us April 29, 2017, as we celebrate the work we’ve done and fund the future of the arts in Arkansas schools.
