USS Arkansas's Strongest Man and Woman

Central Arkansas's first strongman competition.

Event 1: Last Man Standing Axle Clean and Press
Weights will begin with empty implement and increase by 10# for female divisions and 20# for male divisions. Competitors may “jump-in” at any time and will have unlimited chances to lift the
most weight from the ground to overhead. 60 seconds per attempt. Chalk only. Down command from judge.

Event 2: Last Man Standing Regular Bar Deadlift
Weights will begin with a 45# plate on each side of the bar and continue in 20 pound increments. Competitors may “jump in” at any time and will have unlimited chances to pull the most weight for a single rep. 60 seconds per attempt. Straps, chalk allowed. No suits or tacky. Conventional stance only. Down command from the Judge.

Event 3: Truck Pull
Fastest time to pull the truck 60 feet, time limit of 90 seconds. Each competitor will be allowed to choose whether or not to use a rope to pull the truck. Competitors will be given credit for distance pulled if the time expires. Competitors will be given credit for fastest time if the truck is pulled for the entire 60 feet.

Event 4: Yoke Carry
40 feet down and 40 feet back. Unlimited drops. Implement
must cross line. 5 point penalty for slides. 60 second time cap, Competitors will be given credit for distance carried if time limit is reached. Belt, chalk, knee sleeves, and elbow sleeves allowed. No tacky or grip aids.
Novice Women/Teen Women: 285 Pounds
Master LW Women/LWW: 325 Pounds
Master HW Women/MWW: 365 Pounds
HWW: 405 Pounds
SHWW: 455 Pounds
Novice LW Men/Teen Men: 365 Pounds
Novice HW Men/Master LW Men/LWM: 505 Pounds
Masters HW Men/MWM: 585 Pounds
HWM: 645 Pounds
SHWM: 725 pounds

Event 5: Farmers Carry
40 feet down and back. Unlimited drops. Implement must cross line. 60 Second time cap, Competitors will be given credit for distance carried if time limit is reached. Belt, chalk, knee sleeves, and chalk allowed. No tacky, no straps. Weight is per hand.
Novice Women/Teen Women: 110 Pounds
Master LW Women/LWW: 140 Pounds
Master HW Women/MWW: 170 Pounds
HWW: 190 Pounds
SHWW: 455 Pounds
Novice LW Men/Teen Men: 190 Pounds
Novice HW Men/LWM: 230 Pounds
