Traveling Exhibit on Display at the Arkansas National Guard Museum July 5th through July 28th: The Great War: Arkansas in World War I
The Great War: Arkansas in World War I showcases imag-es from the Arkansas State Archives' holdings, including original documents, photo-graphs, posters, maps and historical objects that tell the story of Arkansas's role during World War I, at home and on the battlefields. The panels cover the chronology of the war as well as various facets of the conflict: training troops in Arkansas, actions overseas, the Home Front, providing for the war, healthcare and Arkansas heroes.

The panels in the new Pike Room tell the story of the Great War as well as the construction of Camp Pike. The panels of this exhibit go on to tell the story of activities that occurred at Camp Pike following the Great War and tells of the Pandemic of 1918, Camp Pike College, Camp McRae, the Citizens Military Training Camp, the Civilian Conservation Camp as well as the name change from Camp Pike to Camp J.T. Robinson.
