Bob joined the North Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau in November 2011 as group tours consultant. In August 2012 the North Little Rock Advertising & Promotions Commission appointed him Acting Executive Director and in November of 2012 was appointed Executive Director of the North Little Rock Visitors Bureau. After a thirty year career with Southwestern Bell Telephone /AT&T, Bob retired in 2000 as Arkansas Area Sales & Marketing Manager. Bob coordinated the statewide sales and marketing of the 9-1-1 Emergency Number System in Arkansas. Bob also served as Special Events Director for the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce from 2007-2011. He is a lifelong resident of North Little Rock and has been an active member of the community serving on various boards and committees, including President of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Central Arkansas Transit Authority Board of Directors. A 1965 graduate of North Little Rock High School, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Karen Trevino, CTIS and CCTP
Karen manages the administrative/operations department. She taught Hospitality and Tourism at Pulaski Tech’s Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management Institute for several years. Karen served as executive director at the North Little Rock Visitors Bureau from 2003 – 2012. She has a Masters in Tourism and has worked in the tourism industry for over thirty years having worked previously at the Arkansas Department of Parks & Tourism and the Arkansas Hospitality Association.
Scott Sudduth, CMP
Sales & Marketing Director
Scott manages the sales and marketing team, developing and implementing marketing and sales plans. Prior to working for the North Little Rock CVB, Sudduth was destination brand trainer for the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau and state coordinator for the Arkansas Hospitality Association’s “Welcome to Arkansas” program. For twenty years, Sudduth served as director of marketing for Performance Food Group. Sudduth is a certified meeting professional (CMP), graduated from the Little Rock Leadership Institute and is a certified instructor for ServSafe. He was chosen as a “meeting professional to watch” by Convention South Magazine and was inducted into the Arkansas Hospitality Association’s Hall of Fame.
Sports Bureau Manager
Shannon has been with the North Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau for eight years and is responsible for showcasing some of the best sports facilities in the country, assisting tournament directors with their planning needs and helping as many people as possible experience North Little Rock. North Little Rock is home to Burns Park, the largest municipal park in Arkansas. With more than 1,700 acres, Burns Park includes soccer, softball, tennis and baseball complexes as well as two disc golf courses and two 18-hole golf courses. North Little Rock has hosted the U.S. Youth Soccer Regional and National Championships and the U.S. Tennis Association’s National 14’s Open and Boys 12’s Championships. Harris recently secured North Little Rock as the host of the 2013 and 2014 American Legion Mid-South Regional Baseball Tournaments. A University of Arkansas at Little Rock graduate with a bachelor’s in marketing, Harris has also earned a Travel Marketing Professional Diploma from the Southeast Tourism Society’s Marketing College.
Creative Services Manager
Summer has been with the North Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau for eight years. She handles the marketing for the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum and in-house graphic design for brochures and ads. She serves as community liaison by participating on many community boards, including Keep North Little Rock Beautiful, the River Rail Marketing Committee, Argenta ArtWalk, the Argenta Arts Foundation Board, the Argenta Downtown Council Board, the American Heart Association Festival of Wines Committee, the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce Next Generation Young Professional Board, the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce Vanguard Committee and the North Little Rock Chamber Market Arkansas/Taste of the Town Committee.
Special Projects Manager
Robin has handled special projects for 16 years and is the management liason for the Downtown Riverside RV Park in North Little Rock. She is the tourism tax administrator, assisting restaurants and answering questions about taxes. As President of the Friends of the Old Mill organization, she volunteers her time improving and maintaining the integrity and beauty of T.R. Pugh Memorial Park and The Old Mill. Robin also gives tours of "The Old Mill" for school groups, tour groups and groups of 10 or more.
Stephanie is responsible for media relations, social media, maintaining NorthLittleRock.org and the Happenings! monthly e-newsletter. A graduate of Hendrix College, Slagle previously served as public relations specialist at Mangan Holcomb Partners in Little Rock. She is a member of the Arkansas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce’s Next Generation of Young Professionals and the state chapter of Skål International. She is currently attending University of Arkansas at Little Rock to earn a graduate certificate in strategic communications and Southeast Tourism Society Marketing College for her Travel Marketing Professional diploma.
Visitors Information Center Manager
Hank joined the Visitors Center in 2016. He welcomes travelers to the area and gives information about the city. He keeps updated information about the local area attractions, lodging and dining to promote the great city of North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Downtown Riverside RV Park Manager
Sheila has managed the Downtown Riverside RV Park since 2008. She is the on-site manager, booking stays at the park and assisting guests daily.
Bill greets and assists visitors to the Visitors Center on weekends.
