Due to unforeseen circumstances, our previously scheduled feature (Elle Nash) was forced to cancel her appearance, but opening writer Lilyan Kauffman will still be reading. She’ll be backed by a carousel of short readings from previously featured ARS writers to include Bryan Borland, Rhett Brinkley, Ben McVay, Seth Pennington, and Joey Trimble. This is going to be fun.
LILYAN KAUFFMAN has been published in the Arkansas Times (online only) and was once on the honor roll at her high school, the historic Little Rock Central High. She currently manages The Bookstore at Library Square, which is owned and operated by the Central Arkansas Library System. She is a lifelong literacy advocate who enjoys things that are bad for her and sitting on her couch. She lives in Little Rock with her daughter, Evelyn.
ABOUT ARGENTA READING SERIES
The Argenta Reading Series seeks to connect writers directly with their audience, to appreciate the written word, and understand better the person behind those words. Readings are monthly, in the Argenta United Methodist Church meeting space, and admission is free at all readings unless otherwise noted, though the series is supported by your donations and through a partnership with the William F. Laman Public Library of North Little Rock.
