Free to attend – Competitors register at “Find Tickets” – CLEAR YOUR CALENDAR – During the first Dogtown Throwdown of the 2022 season, you can come cheer on your favorite heroes. Teams of 3 from your Fire Departments, Police Departments, National Guard, Air Force, Junior ROTC, College ROTC, Special Forces, to Medical Personnel, Gyms, and Individual Heroes will navigate the Spartan DEKA arena. The Top 3 individual finishers will be awarded the DEKA Strong Spartan Ram, and the fastest overall team time will be named the 1st Heroes Cup champions. This event is for all levels of fitness who wish to make their mark on the DEKA Global Leaderboard. Your mark will be made, and as you do more Spartan DEKA events, your mark will update. It is time for Spartan to meet Little Rock!! Athlete registration opens around 25 January 2022.
Free to the public to come cheer on their heroes. The Dogtown Throwdown party will be in full effect to get your drink and eat on, and when you are not cheering, you can check out our awesome sponsors and vendors.
DEKA, from the creators of Spartan, is the Decathlon of functional fitness designed for all levels. With the 10 DEKA Zones, DEKA provides a well rounded functional test for all levels of fitness. Every zone is based on rudimentary movements that don’t require any specific training or education to complete. Think thousands of years ago when it wasn’t called exercise, fitness, or training. It was survival. Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, kneeling, jumping/stepping/climbing over something, getting down on the ground and standing back up, and three basic forms of transportation – row, ski, & cycle.
Friends of PEC Limited is working with the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, The Argenta Downtown Council, and The North Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau to bring a new fitness culture to the community. The National Guard is of the community and on April 9th 2022, Little Rock and surrounding area’s heroes will descend upon Dogtown Throwdown. Clubhaus Fitness is the leading sponsor bringing the DEKA brand to Little Rock.
