Learn the basics of making functional pottery by hand without the use of the potter’s wheel. Students will learn the basic hand-building techniques; pinching, coiling, and slab construction. Make functional and decorative works with clay that will be bisque fired in our kiln to be picked up later. Come back to see us for a class or workshop to learn how to add colorful glaze to your work as you become a member of the Hub. At the end of this class, participants will be ready to take the assessment and gain full access to the studio with a membership.
