Class: Stained Glass – Try It!

Learn how to make beautiful stained-glass creations! Our beginner workshop will teach you all the basic tools and techniques you need to create a lovely hanging glass sculpture. Following time-honored traditions, you’ll learn how to cut glass using a template and then grind, foil, and solder them together. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a better understanding of this artistic practice and be inspired to create many more beautiful pieces!

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn:
 How to score and cut glass safely
 How to use a glass grinder
 Tiffany-method copper foiling techniques
 How to safely use a soldering iron to connect glass pieces

Attire: Participants must wear long pants and close-toed shoes for safety.
We will stop for a short break. Feel free to bring lunch or snacks.
