Jimmy Buffet fans

The Concert

The last time Jimmy Buffett came to North Little Rock’s Verizon Arena in 2012, it was to play to a sellout crowd of more than 16,000. The thousands of fans were seen around town, sporting shark fins and having a good time on the North Shore Riverwalk by the Arkansas River. Jimmy’s return to Verizon Arena on June 6, 2019, is expected to be just as big a hit for fans of “Margaritaville.”

Looking for concert tickets? It’s slim-pickin’s but not too late:

Downtown Riverside RV Park, located a block away from Verizon Arena, packed with Jimmy Buffett fans in 2012. Within a few days of the concert announcement, the RV park was sold out for Jimmy Buffett’s return June 6, 2019.

The Pre-Event Parties

But long before he takes the stage with The Coral Reefers Band for his “Son of a Son of a Sailor” Tour, he will be the inspiration for a day-long celebration, Don Julio Buzzaritaville, hosted by 103.7 The Buzz! Located inside the sea wall under the I-30 bridge in North Little Rock, Buzzaritaville will be free and open to the public, with music, radio personalities and a Parrot Head Costume Contest. The party starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m. The Buzz is offering 50 exclusive tailgating spots starting May 13, but you don’t have to park to have fun.

The North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce is also hosting a “Margaritaville” Business After Hours from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at their location across from Verizon Arena. Enjoy live music, food, beverages and networking for $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
