I am Emily Onemanband Smith, a Northwest Arkansas sustainability artist who specializes in one of the kind, multi-dimensional, upcycled art. Over the years, I’ve honed my craft in a multitude of mediums, including mixed media painting, sculpture, collage, fashion, freelance writing, jewelry design, art curation, and portrait/fashion photography.
My personal style is bold, aloof, and abstract, as my creations are molded slowly over time, changing course throughout, adding layers, then stripping away, usually ending up in a different spot all together from which I began. Using solely found and discarded objects as my canvas and subject matter, I attempt to seize every opportunity to spotlight man’s degradation of the Earth by adding beauty where there once was none…Ultimately find the deepest character within discarded items and seek to visually and spiritually transform them into contemporary yet timeless, vibrant and artistic, thought-provoking statement pieces.
