What was the inspiration behind The Trident Fish & Chips?
The inspiration behind The Trident Fish & Chips is simple: authenticity.
Being in the restaurant industry as a chef for thirty years, Jason noticed a need for something different in the community. Something unique.
Jason Spurlock, co-owner of The Trident Fish & Chips, decided to open the food truck to serve traditional, old-school fish and chips to the community.
Most fish and chip food trucks serve French fries, but Jason hand-cuts hundreds of pounds of potatoes a week. Jason’s recipes are old-school and authentic, tracing back to England’s traditional ways of preparing the dishes.
Why North Little Rock for The Trident Fish & Chips?
North Little Rock has many opportunities to connect and grow with the community.
“We wanted to bring something different to not only North Little Rock, but the U.S. too.”
It’s a customer’s first time coming to The Trident Fish & Chips. What do you want them to know?
The fish and chips are made the traditional way.
Jason uses pollock fish, one of the healthiest fish in the ocean. When you come up to the truck, he’ll greet you with, “Hey, do you have any questions?”
His customer service and food are the difference between The Trident Fish & Chips and other places.
