Karen’s four decades of tourism and hospitality experience include work as Senior Vice President & COO at North Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau; group tours consultant at the Arkansas Department of Parks & Tourism; assistant and later executive director of then-named North Little Rock Visitors Bureau; director of operations for the Arkansas Hospitality Association, and hospitality and tourism professor at Pulaski Technical College’s Arkansas Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management Institute.

As COO, Alexander maintains the day-to-day operation and mission of North Little Rock Tourism as well as oversees the operations of Downtown Riverside RV Park and Argenta Plaza. A graduate of Arkansas State University at Beebe, Alexander has more than fifteen years of experience in the hospitality industry and ten years of accounting.

Kouns is graduate of Florida State University with more than 12 years of experience in hospitality and tourism industries. She currently manages “Setting the Table” culinary initiative, group travel sales and the Downtown Riverside RV Park. She is a Culinary Destination Marketer (CDM) through World Food Travel Association and is also a Professional in Destination Management (PDM) through Destinations International.

Everett is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas and has managed communications for multiple non-profit organizations in Wyoming for 5 years. He works on marketing and promotion for events and Downtown Riverside RV Park.
As Senior Manager of Sales and Partnerships, Morris will lead North Little Rock Tourism sales efforts in the sports and meetings markets and manage the event grant program. Morris is a Certified Tour Professional (CTP) through the National Tour Association, Sports Tourism Strategist (STS) through Sports ETA and Travel Marketing Professional (TMP) through Southeast Tourism Society.

Shannon oversees the North Little Rock Welcome Center at 600 Main Street, Ste 100, North Little Rock, AR 72114. Shannon has been with the North Little Rock CVB for 12 years and was previously responsible for sales in the sports market.
Jill assists North Little Rock foodservice and lodging businesses with the North Little Rock Advertising & Promotion (A & P) permit application process and A & P tax remittances. Her experience includes 13 years as Director of Membership Services & Special Events for the Arkansas Hospitality Association and 10 years as General Manager of Anglers White River Resort in Mountain View, Arkansas.
A 2024 graduate of Arkansas Tech University’s Hospitality Administration program, Pete manages events at Argenta Plaza. He previously worked as Assistant Team Leader for White Water in Branson, Missouri.
