Thea Foundation hosts art exhibitions in its gallery space as part of a series called “The Art Department.” The Art Department’s mission is to engage young arts patrons and to help cultivate a community of arts-focused young professionals that are involved in central Arkansas’s greater arts community.

The Thea Foundation was founded by Paul and Linda Leopoulos soon after the untimely death of their warm and talented daughter, Thea Kay. Thea thrived socially and academically after discovering her gifts in art, writing, dance and drama. The founders and the Board of Directors have adopted the mission of carrying Thea’s legacy forward by supporting other young people who, like Thea, find confidence and motivation through involvement in the arts.
