The North Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is proud to announce that The Old Mill at T. R. Pugh Memorial Park has earned the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years, qualifying it for the Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame.

“The Old Mill has been an integral part of our community for almost 90 years,” said Bob Major, President & CEO of the North Little Rock CVB. “The park earning consistent positive reviews on sites like TripAdvisor is a testament to its timeless appeal for North Little Rock visitors.”
The Old Mill in North Little Rock is a replica of an 1800’s grist-mill most recognized as the last standing structure from the classic 1939 film, Gone with the Wind. The Old Mill is a National Historic site, was voted #2 Best Arkansas Attraction in the 2018 USAToday’s 10Best Reader’s Choice Awards, is the #1 thing to do in North Little Rock on TripAdvisor, and is a winner of the TripSavvy Editors’ Choice Awards.
Master Gardeners and The Friends of the Old Mill take pride in caring for the park through litter pick-up, vegetation maintenance and wildlife habitat maintenance. The North Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department has recently repaired the roof and is installing a pump to supply water to the upper water feature.
The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is annually given to the top 10 percent of businesses on TripAdvisor. Determined by an algorithm combining quality and quantity of user reviews on the website, TripAdvisor is thorough in confirming the authenticity of visitor responses. More than 90 percent of the people that reviewed The Old Mill on TripAdvisor gave it a four- or five- star rating, praising the park as a “beautiful view”, “quick stop” and “must see”. TripAdvisor, the largest travel platform in the world, is a forum to find and review hospitality-based services, such as accommodations, attractions, restaurants, airlines, and vacation rentals.
