The North Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau (North Little Rock CVB) will host the final installment of its Argenta Plaza Summer Music Series, featuring The Gravel Yard and Ten Penny Gypsy, on Saturday, August 21, at 5 p.m. at Argenta Plaza at 510 Main Street in North Little Rock.
The Gravel Yard will headline the August 21 concert, bringing an electric style to the bluegrass world with lively originals and a twist on classics. Hailing from Mountain Home, Arkansas, the band includes Matt Clampit on guitar, Chris Denny on lead vocals and guitar, Aaron Farris on upright bass, Cliff Prowse on fiddle, Titus Turner on mandolin and Tiffany Turner on banjo.
The opening act, Ten Penny Gypsy, is an Arkansas folk/americana duo which has received several nominations in the Arkansas Country Music Awards. The group consists of singer/songwriters Justin Patterson and Laura Lynn Daley.
The event is free and open to the public thanks to sponsors including the North Little Rock CVB, the City of North Little Rock, First Orion Corp, Russell Chevrolet, North Little Rock Fit2Live, Custom XM, Argenta Downtown Council, Taggart Architects, Ristorante Capeo and AT&T Arkansas.
A limited number of tents will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees may bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.
Don’t forget to come early and stay after to patron our amazing downtown North Little Rock restaurants for food and drinks! Tents will be set up for outdoor dining on Main Street.
