Celebrate Asian America and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPI Heritage Month), which is a celebration recognizing the historical and cultural contributions of individuals and groups of Asian and Pacific Islander descent to the United States. The AAPI umbrella term includes cultures from the entire Asian continent—including East, Southeast and South Asia—and the Pacific Islands of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia.

If you have yet to celebrate and show the love to our AAPI community why not grab a bite to eat? Here in North Little Rock we have several businesses and restaurants that are owned and/or run by our very own AAPI community. Celebrate the month and show the love to our community by shopping and eating at local AAPI owned/run businesses.

Here are a few great places to stop by for a bite in North Little Rock:

Crazy Hibachi – 2907 Lakewood Village Dr.

Egg Roll Express – 3416 Camp Robinson Rd.

Fujiyama – 3700 John F Kennedy Blvd.

Kayins KamiKato – 521 Main St.

Kanpai Sushi – 4120 E McCain Blvd.
