A Christmas Carol at Argenta Community Theater

The holiday classic A Christmas Carol returns to Argenta Community Theater Friday, December 7, through Saturday, December 15. The play is an original adaptation of the Charles Dickens beloved classic written by Arkansas playwright Judy Goss and performed by local actors. Tickets are $30 and available on the theater’s website.

This weekend: North Little Rock Christmas Parade

NLRChristmasParade_NLRCVB_2017_09_smallThe annual North Little Rock Christmas Parade, organized by the North Little Rock Sertoma Club, is rolling down Main Street on Sunday, December 2, at 2 p.m. The parade is free to the public and will go down Main Street from Pershing to the North Little Rock City Services building. Come early and stop by the North Little Rock Heritage Center for their Holiday Open House, with a train exhibit and kids’ activities. Weather is showing 67 and cloudy, so come out and spend the afternoon downtown!

P. Allen Smith visits North Little Rock’s Me & McGee Market

Allen Smith featured Me & McGee Market in one of the recent episodes of his show, Garden Style, meeting owner Debbie McGee and visiting with her about the start of this local market. You can watch an excerpt on Facebook here. Located at 10409 Highway 70 in North Little Rock, Me & McGee Market is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
