Thanks to Rock Region METRO (central Arkansas’s public transit system) and its local funding partners like the City of North Little Rock, the vintage-style streetcars cruising downtown North Little Rock and Little Rock will be FREE for the entire year of 2019.

Replicas of the 1920 Birney Streetcar, the METRO streetcars are fun for both residents and visitors to North Little Rock, offering a unique perspective for those new to the area. Spanning the beautiful Arkansas River, the system links some of the most popular destinations in Central Arkansas, including the Clinton Presidential Center, North Little Rock’s Argenta Arts District; Little Rock’s River Market District, and plenty of local dining and shopping along the way.
