November Argenta Art Walk Lineup

Argenta Art Walk is a free, public event hosted by the Argenta Friends of the Arts and Argenta Downtown Council in downtown North Little Rock’s Argenta Arts District. The after-hours art night is held on the third Friday of each month from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with several participating locations throughout the district. For a map of locations, go here.

Artist: Crystal C. Mercer

Black, Queer, Create(her), businesswoman and conduit for culture and community, Crystal C. Mercer is a celebrated fiber artist, activist, published author, playwright, and poet. She utilizes theatre, poetry, and textiles to communicate ancestral messages and tell social justice narratives through merchandising artifacts of the culture and storytelling with an emphasis of uplifting voices of color and making marginalized populations visible. As the newest member to the Artspace Consulting team, Mercer hopes to advance bridging real estate and racial justice for creative communities. Mercer holds a BA in Theatre Arts and Dance from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Master’s Degree from the Clinton School of Public Service. Friendsgiving Celebration!

Celebrate community and enjoy food, fun, and making. Activities will include fabric painting on pre-screen printed bandanas, blind contour drawing, and more! This is a FREE event. The Hub will be accepting donations for the Arkansas Food Bank, so bring a non-perishable food item if you can. They will also be featuring the Diamond State Wood Turners.
