With the coronavirus limiting dine-in for restaurants, it almost seems like North Little Rock – home of walk-up barbecue stands and dairy bars – was made for this. As Arkansans, we’re used to eating outdoors. We’re used to withering humidity and only packing up a picnic when there’s five seconds between a flash of lightning and thunder’s boom. We’re well-equipped with bug spray or sunblock. As long as we have an ice-cold beer or sweet tea in hand, we can withstand anything.
So, here’s a list of North Little Rock restaurants that have outdoor dining. Some have covered patios with fans, some are just a couple of picnic tables in the shade. Some are offering it temporarily in response to coronavirus (but who knows? Some may become permanent). We’ve also got a growing list of dog-friendly restaurants, if you want to bring your pup along.

Before going, check restaurant operating hours and whether or not outdoor seating is open at this time.
