The Joint Theater & Coffeehouse announced July 8, 2020, that due to rising cases of coronavirus, they will delay the opening of Just Shut Up and Drive. We will update when we know more.
The Fertle Family is back.
If you don’t know who the Fertle Family is, meet them this July.
After closing the curtains for a couple of months, The Main Thing comedy troupe is returning to the stage at The Joint Theater & Coffeehouse at 301 Main Street in the Argenta Arts District of North Little Rock, bringing much-needed laughter and lighthearted humor.
Just Shut Up and Drive! will open July 10, and run through September 12, with performances every Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. The Joint’s cabaret theater offers cocktails, craft beers, wines, specialty coffees, snacks and desserts at your table throughout the show.
To protect audiences, social distancing will be in effect at The Joint until further notice, so seating availability will be reduced. All tickets are $30 and will be reserved in advance, so make your reservations early! Tickets may be purchased by calling the theater box office at 501-372-0205, online at www.TheJointArgenta.com or at 301 Main Street in North Little Rock.
Show synopsis: The entire Singing Fertle Family from Dumpster, Arkansas, packs into a ’92 Buick and attempts to drive to Dan Diego to visit the rich relatives they don’t really like. The Fertles spend much of the show trying to reach their destination, but once they arrive, the trouble really begins as the filthy rich and the dirt poor try to coexist under one roof.
