The Main Thing is coming back to you Live at The Joint this June

The Joint Comedy Theater is officially back.

After several dreary months of temporary closure, The Joint Comedy Theater at 301 Main Street in North Little Rock will reopen the doors June 4 to once again entertain, commiserate with and engage its patrons in lively events full of wit, sarcasm and dry humor.

“The Main Thing” comedy trio will open its 2021 season on Friday, June 4, with its two-act show, Just Shut Up and Drive, in which the Fertle Family takes a family trip to California from their hometown of Dumpster, Arkansas, to escape the coronavirus. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. shows on Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are $30 and all seating is reserved. If you purchase tickets online your seats will be chosen based on availability. You can also reserve seats by calling 501-372-0205.

To keep customers safe, The Joint will limit seating and only take reservations (no walk-ups) but “the fun will remain the same,” Vicki says. Masks will be encouraged when entering and leaving but not required when seated.

The weekend comedy shows are just part of the fun The Joint brings: beginning June 1, weekly Punch Line Stand-Up Comedy, Improv Comedy with The Joint Venture return as well. Stand-up comedy will be Tuesdays at 8 p.m. and Improv Comedy will be Wednesdays at 8 p.m. Both are $10 cash at the door for entry.
